This is from Bushra, not from Miss Berdick

The right to think is mainly not a "right" that people may realize on a day to day basis. There are many concepts and ideas that this phrase brings up to me which are directly applicable to my life. The right to think brings upon the ideas of freedom, freedom of religion, and freedom of culture. Nowadays anyone here in the United States would take any of these concepts for granted because this is not something that people think about and appreciate on a daily basis while performing the right to think .Furthermore, I personally had never thought about this idea before I read "Inherit The Wind" because I was so well adapted to having the right to think and using it, I never really took a chance to think about it and reflect upon it. Another reason why I never thought about this idea is because no one actually limited me to think or to believe in a certain way. I always had the right to choose what I believe and follow for what I believe for. Therefore, I always took this right as it was for granted. Although, in the play "Inherit the Wind" it portrays a city, Hillsboro, where people are forced to believe a certain way or else they are condemned as sinners. Also, unlike the individuals nowadays, everybody in the city of Hillsboro was forced to believe one way without the right to even think beyond the limits. Therefore, this play has affected me personally now that I think about the right to think. It has forced me to appreciate a variety of things like following my own religion, or even believing in my certain culture. My opinion of this idea now withholds a whole new means of respect because I now realize after reading “Inherit the Wind" that how much importance and change this idea could bring to an individuals life. Lastly, "Inherit the Wind" has affected my opinion of this idea extraordinarily because this play has made me realize the true value of the right to think.
