So...What did you think?

Hello 1st hour!!

This blog is about looking back over what we’ve read so far this year.  Here are the five major works we read during first semester (in alphabetical order):  Catcher in the Rye; First They Killed my Father; Inherit the Wind; A Midsummer Night’s Dream; and My Antonia.  What is your opinion of what we read first semester and, most importantly, why do you feel this way?  I’d like you to comment briefly on each piece of literature, but please don’t write a novel about each work!  (Note:  I’m asking for your reaction here, not if you think these works belong in our curriculum!)

Remember, you can react to what people before you have written as well.  But, I do want to see at least one new idea brought up in each person’s blog (that’s a new idea per blog, NOT per literary work!). 

You can write about these literary works in any order you’d like.  Take some time to think this over before you start writing.  You can love a work or not like it so much, but don’t turn this into just venting—that’s not so good either.  Have fun!
